Jesus loved the poor in spirit and He didn't favor what everyone else did. He knew those who were weary and weak and He touched them because He wants them to feel loved and to experience true love. Which is God! I think when God opens our eyes, to a need we see in a person's life, we need to deny ourselves, and let Chirst live his life through us.
