Your testimony was a blessing. We're probably similar in most respects in our Christian thought (although I'm 25+ years senior) and enjoy the ministry of Greg K and STR. I do have a difference in this area of thought though. I believe that we are body, soul and spirit (with soul and spirit being distinct). Upon conception, the soul begins to emerge via the traducian process and the spirit is given by God in the sense of creatianism.
